Energy Storage Laboratory at the Binnig and Rohrer Nanotechnology Center

The Binnig and Rohrer Nanotechnology Center is a partnership between ETH Zurich and IBM Research-Zurich that opened in May 2011.  It offers a 950 square meters of Class 100/1000 cleanroom and six "noise-free" labs that provide mechanical, acoustic, electromagnetic, and temperature stability. One floor of the Binnig and Rohrer Nanotechnolog Center is reserved for ETH laboratories, and there the Laboratory for Nanoelectronics has 150 square meters of space dedicated to energy storage research that includes a wet lab and battery testing facility.
